We are a non profit charity in India working in rural area for the betterment and well being of the poor backward community. We transform oppresive structure and system. We work to gain economic justice and independence for women. Women are natural networkers, they know how to initiate and maintain relationship. This is the essense of digital world. Women are on the move. We dream up and take responsibility for an innovative and untested idea for positive social change and usher that idea from dream to reality. What enables social entrepreneuers to make lasting impact on the most difficult problems is a special combination of ground breaking creativity and steadfast execution. Our various social humanitarian project work can be seen on Our website : http://www.starve5.org Our contact e-mail: pallab425@yahoo.co.in

Hi Lorena Thanks for your message. I'll have a look at the Azafady blog. We have been promoting the Pimp this Goat blog through online craft communities, twitter and facebook. we are also hoping it will be featured in professional fundraising magazine, which will raise the awareness within the sector. it would be great if you could pass on the blog link to anyone you think could be interested. Oh, and on a personal level, whereabouts are you studying charity marketing and fundraising - it sounds like a course Id be interested in!

Hi Lorena I read your profile and saw that you are interested in the world of online marketing for charity. I work for a charity called FARM-Africa, and we have just launched an online campaign called Pimp this Goat. Have a look at the blog: http://www.pimpthisgoat.tumblr.com and get involved! Thanks Sam

Hi Lorena, Thanks for the message re my post. You mentioned above what online world can do for charities. Regarding The Butterfly Tree we have gained a tremendous following through our website, though we have yet to master the art of raising funds through social networking! Collaboration using sites like Worldeka is also a great help.
