A bit about the founders...
Worldeka is run by Charlie and Sophie, a young brother sister team from London England. Conceived by Sophie on a lazy Sunday morning in 2008 Worldeka was written up on the back of a napkin in Charlie's unmistakable scrawl within the day.
Sophie has always been very into global development; she studied the subject at university and worked all around the world for charitable organizations, but she was also pretty good at business, setting up her first profitable company at 16. In fact she was working in international Business and Marketing for Omnicom when she decided to jack it all in for the wonderful world of Worldeka. An enthusiastic disregard for the impossible and a firm belief in humanities common goodness motivates Sophie to make Worldeka awesome and empower people to change their world.
Charlie was an exceedingly curious chap from a young age, always experimenting, investigating and blowing stuff up. Then aged six his grandma got him a computer! Soon he was coding, clicking, hacking and cracking his way across a range of machines, quickly identifying that the wondrous Interweb was just the thing for him. In a career that seems to have included just about everything you can do on the internet he has always felt fundamentally the same as when he was a small boy...This Is The Thing That Will Change Everything! So when it was time to change that scrap of napkin into Worldeka, well he knew just what to do.
